Abstract

Comorbid pathology is currently attracting the attention of a large number of researchers
due to its widespread occurrence, influence on the clinical manifestations of the underlying
disease, the complexity of diagnostic approaches and non-optimistic prognosis. Patients
with coronary artery disease (CHD) and comorbid pathology deserve special attention.
Hypertension (HD), diabetes mellitus (DM), obesity are most often combined with
coronary heart disease [1]. It is already undoubted that in the context of a pandemic
caused by coronavirus infection, patients with coronary heart disease are allocated to a
special risk group. Coronavirus infection has a significant impact on the decompensation
of existing chronic diseases, specific damage to the cardiovascular system. At the same
time, the combination of coronavirus infection with cardiovascular diseases leads to the
formation of additional difficulties in diagnostics, determining priority tactics, changing
the routing orders of patients with emergency conditions, and choosing therapy [2]
